Rotary Fun Run

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Rotary Fun Run, an esteemed charity fundraising event cherished for its camaraderie and goodwill, will not be taking place as scheduled this year at the beautiful Rocks Riverside Park. We regret to inform participants and supporters that the event initially set for the 10th of September, 2023, will be postponed to 2024. However, we have some exciting news! The Rotary Club of Brisbane Taylor Bridge, Rotary Club of Brisbane Centenary, and Rotary Club of Greater Springfield have come together to bring you the inaugural Brisbane Left the Lid Walk for Australian Rotary Health mental health research on the 29th of October. For more information, please visit the link below. We appreciate your understanding and patience, and we look forward to coming together soon for this vital cause.

In the past 3 years BeefBank has supplied over 500,000 meals across the region from Gympie in Central QLD to Balina in Northern NSW.

Foodbank

Foodbank is Australia’s largest food relief organisation, providing over 63 million meals a year to over 2400 charities and 1000 schools around the country.

Foodbank is a non-denominational, non-profit organisation which acts as a pantry to the charities and community groups who feed the hungry. It was first established in 1992 in NSW and now has a presence in every state and the Northern Territory with distribution centres in all state capitals as well as a number of regional centres. We operate with a staff of approximately 100 employees and over 3,000 volunteers.

The Rotary Fun Run has been supporting Foodbank via its Beef Bank donations for many years and we are now stepping up our support to include a monetary donation direct to Foodbank so they can continue their amazing service.
